Arthur recently sailed to Bermuda to raise money for the "Wish Come True" foundation. He made the trip with his J/30 sloop, "Sheila C.," in memory of his wife of 38 years who died of cancer in 2004. He met Jeanine at a support group for widowers who'd lost their partners to cancer. During Arthur's trip to Bermuda, Jeanine was his navigator and life-line from land, communicating with him daily via satellite phone.

Chef Martin Leszcz in his cafe, Taste of Curiosity, in Barrington, R.I. Martin lost his wife and business partner, Nancy, unexpectedtly after returning home from a vacation, a couple days before Valentine's Day. He is now trying to find ways to continue running business without her.

John Biancuzzo, 67, is upset because a sinkhole has developed near his family's plots as a result of flooding at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bristol. Biancuzzo attributes the sinkhole to an antiquated drainage system. "This always happens when it rains; it's a shame. I only wish the town and the church could get together on this issue."
